Guidelines for Abstract Submission of Oral Paper / Poster Presentation:

➢ The abstract can be submitted under the following categories.
o Histopathology
o Cytopathology
o Haematology, Transfusion Medicine & Clinical Pathology

• Instructions for Abstract Preparation and Submission:

• It is mandatory for the presenter to get IAPM Membership.
• It is mandatory to mention your IAPM Membership Number which is one of the essential eligibility criteria for presentation while submitting the abstract.
• All Abstracts are to be submitted via ELECTRONIC MEDIA ONLY.
• The word limit for the abstracts would be 250 - 300 words.
• Abstracts should be accompanied by endorsement from Head of Department.
• Postgraduate student will have to submit bonafide certificate from HOD or institute head while registering.
• Post PG participating candidates either in paper or poster or quiz session should have certificate from HOD about the completion of their PG or they can submit their passing / degree certificate.
• Post graduates, who have completed MD 2 years before can also submit the abstract, they will have to submit degree/provisional degree certificate while registering.
• Hyperlinks, animation images or videos are not permitted.
• Abstracts of papers and posters will be scrutinized for their presentation merit by scientific committee.
• The committee will have the right to change the pattern of presentation (Papers to posters) and acceptance or rejection on merits of the abstract.
• Seven minutes will be allotted to the presenting author for Oral Presentation (5 min for Presentation + 2 min for Discussion).
• Five minutes will be allotted to the presenting author for Poster Presentation (3 min for Presentation + 2 min for Discussion).
• Last date of receipt of Abstracts is 31 st July 2025 (submission deadline shall NOT be extended).
• Presenters shall be notified of acceptance of the abstract by 10 th August 2025.
• All presenters are mandated to register for the conference and to be physically present during the designated poster/paper presentation viewing period.
• All abstracts will be published in the Souvenir. Kindly submit the abstracts (for paper/poster) in tab using your login credentials.

➢ Instructions for Abstract Preparation and Submission:
• Study should not have been published or presented previously in any journal or conference.
• Presenting author should follow the sequence as- Category of presentation (paper/ poster), title, abstract.
• Title should be in bold, font type Times New Roman & font size 14. First letter of each word should be in capital.
• Author's name should be in bold, font type Times New Roman, font size 14 & name of the presenting author should be underlined.
• After name, mention the Conference registration number and IAPM membership number.
• Institution's name should be in Calibri, font size 14.
• Abstract should be structured containing Introduction, Material & Methods/ Case Report, Results and Conclusion. Maximum word limit 250 - 300 words.
• Preferable structure for paper/poster: Title, Presenting Author (to be underlined), CoAuthor(s), Institute, Designation, Introduction, Material & Methods /Clinical profile, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
• Abstract should be typed in Times New Roman and font size 12 with double spacing.




Dr. Raichur Award Oral Presentation

➢ Guidelines for Dr. Raichur Award Oral Presentation:

• Every Institute can contribute only ONE papers for Dr. Raichur Award Presentation.
• Scrutiny Committee will finalize the papers to be kept for Dr. Raichur Award Presentation amongst the submitted papers depending upon the content and relevance of study to the subject.
• Maximum 2 – 5 papers can be selected for this category.
• Selected paper presentations will be done in main Auditorium.
• Every selected candidate will have total 10 min, 8 min for Presentation and 2 min for Questions – Answers.
• Papers not selected for Dr. Raichur Award category will be converted to routine oral presentation.
