MAPCON- 2025, Latur invites you to participate in a new event of Oncopathology related histopathology slide seminar in IAPM 46th Annual Conference of Maharashtra Chapter –MAPCON 2025 being organised by Department of Pathology, Vilasrao Deshmukh Government Medical College, Latur on 13th September 2025. Here the Participant will focus the selected slide under microscope (Live Demonstration/ No PPT Presentation) and discussion of the same will be done in this slide safari session

➢ Guidelines for Slide Safari

• Each Institute can contribute Maximum of Two Histopathology slides with its diagnosis each from following three Systems.
a) Haematolymphoid System
b) Dermatopathology
c) Salivary gland
• The Slides with its diagnosis will be scrutinized by the moderator, to avoid repetitions.
• Criteria for slide selection:
a) Well stained H&E slides
b) Slide with or without IHC diagnosis.
c) Slides which are very difficult to diagnose/ with multiple differential diagnosis/rare case/ mistaken diagnosis.
• Assistant Professor from Selected institutes must present the slides (No SR/ JR).
• Moderator for slide Safari will inform regarding inclusion of selected cases/diagnosis to participating institutes.
• Quality of slides is the responsibility of contributing institute.
• Relevant history, Radiological findings as applicable and slide with diagnosis would be presented and discussed by the contributing institutes during Slide Safari session.
• Timeline is as follows:-
a) Only diagnosis of the slides to be send by the all participating Institutes to moderator before 31st July 2025.
b) Send soft copy of Case history and Diagnosis to :- pathologyvdgmc@gmail.com .
